Reviews and word-of-mouth recommendations are very important to a service-based business.
Almost every single customer will look for reviews about a company before deciding to hire them.
And, if you have lots of positive reviews, it will make a customer trust you more.
So, HOW do you get more reviews for your business.
There are a few ways to do this:
METHOD 1: ASK YOUR CUSTOMERS DIRECTLY
After you create a Recommend.my or Recommend.sg business profile, you can email your previous customers to give you a review.
Here is an example of what you can email to your past customers:
"Dear [[CUSTOMER NAME]], we are now listed at Recommend.my. We would appreciate if you can give us a review. Our page is here: [[INSERT YOUR BUSINESS PROFILE LINK HERE]]"
METHOD 2: SHARE YOUR BUSINESS PAGE TO SOCIAL MEDIA
Visit your business profile and click on the sharing buttons (see image, marked with a red square):
Or, you can click on your browser's "share" button to share it to another app on your phone.
For example, you can share your business profile to your Facebook app, Twitter app, or even your Whatsapp.
METHOD 3: MARK A JOB AS 'COMPLETE'
If you already have been hired through Recommend, you should mark the job as "completed" after you finish it.
We will automatically email the customer to ask for a review.
To mark a job as "completed", visit your Recommend.my PRO dashboard or Recommend.sg PRO dashboard. Then search for the customer name in the "booked" tab. Click on the quote details for that customer and click the "complete" button (see image)
Note: Pros with zero reviews will get lower priority during job matching. We will also suspend or terminate pros that post fake reviews.
