What is a promo request?
A promo request is just like a regular service request, but containing a special promotion code.
When we run a special promotion (for example: "Get RM10 off your house cleaning"), we will give customers a promo code e.g. "CLEAN100".
When a customer submits a cleaning request form, they will add this promo code (see image below).

Promotions help us attract more customers. This means more potential jobs for you!
Will I be charged more to respond to promo requests?
No. The cost of credits to respond to promo requests is the same as a normal request.
Will I earn less money from the job because I have to give a discount?
You will not earn less money. Recommend will bear the cost of the discount.
If I am the one invoicing my customer, how is it possible for you to give a discount to the customer?
We give the discount in two methods.
- First method of discount: Using Recommend Pay (not available in Singapore)
In this method, the discount is only applicable when the customer pays using Recommend Pay. That means you have to invoice the customer using Recommend Pay. When the customer makes payment, the discount is automatically added. However, you will still receive the full payment from Recommend.
- Second method of discount: Service professional gives discount, and claim back from Recommend
In this method, the customer pays you directly instead of paying through Recommend Pay. You must apply the discount when you invoice the customer directly. You can claim back this discount amount after the job is done. How to claim back your discount from Recommend.
